If you’ve been dreaming about a wedding at Cambridge Mill, I get it. There’s a reason it’s one of the most loved venues in the area… and also one of my personal favourites to photograph.
There’s just something about it.
The way the Grand River wraps around the building. The light that pours in through the walls of windows. Maybe we catch a sun flare or too if we're lucky. The mix of modern elegance and natural textures. It’s one of those places that does a lot of the heavy lifting for you without ever feeling overdone.
And from a photography perspective, that matters more than people realize. I’ve included some of my favourite moments from this day and you’ll see exactly what I mean.
We can step outside for portraits along the river, use the landing at the front of the building, run across the street for options at Mill Race Park with beautiful stone structures, or head up to the balcony for a variety of images packed in without travelling too far.
Every time I get an inquiry for a Cambridge Mill wedding, I get a little excited. Not just because it’s a beautiful venue, but because I already know what’s possible there.
