The Energy You Bring: How Your Vibe Shapes Your Photos

Your energy during a session plays a huge role in how the final gallery turns out. I can guide you with prompts, suggest movements or actions, and gently steer the vibe, but I won’t force anything. I don’t want you to act like someone you’re not, or feel like you need to perform a certain way just for a photo. I want this to feel like you. Because when it does, the images are always better.
Some clients come in laughing, playful and affectionate. Others are more reserved, quiet, or nervous at first. Both are completely okay. What matters most is your willingness to be present, to trust the process, and to let yourself feel whatever is actually there in the moment. If your partner makes you laugh, let it happen. If you’re feeling mellow and calm, we can lean into that too. There’s no right or wrong emotion to show up with. The only thing I ask is that you show up open.
I’ll help with all the little things. Where to place your hands, how to interact naturally, what to do with your eyes if you feel awkward (hint: I’ll tell you). But I can’t fake the real stuff. That comes from you. And the more you're able to let go, be yourselves, and trust me behind the lens, the more connected and authentic your gallery will feel.
So yes, I will be there every step of the way. I will adjust when something’s not working, and I will absolutely give you ideas if you feel unsure. But the personality you bring in, the connection between you, and the way you let it all unfold? That’s what makes the images unforgettable.
Photos are more than just pretty pictures. They are pieces of your story. And your story is already enough.
